Braided elastic is a lightweight sewing elastic. It has lengthwise parallel ribs and it will narrow when stretched, but will not run. This is an ideal elastic for waistbands, sleeves, necklines and leg bands and sewn in casings. It is often used in dance wear, swimwear and sports wear.

Easy to sew, great recovery, and versatile!  Can be used for waistbands, neckbands, sleeves, and creating gathers. Washable and dry cleanable.
